ADOPTION ROCKS
Adoption Rocks is a volunteer driven non-profit organization located in Mobile, AL that helps find adoptive parents build families through adoption. The organization was founded by a group of civic leaders, adoptive parents, and professionals who each had a strong concern about babies being born to single mothers and decreasing rates of infant adoptions in the lower state of Alabama. The organization works with local health clinics, school nurse offices, OB-GYN offices, and pregnancy crisis centers across the state. The McConnell's were happy to assist Ecumenical Ministries, in the volunteer work that they do in the community. Ecumenical Ministries is a faith based, non-denominational, and non-profit social service agency that provides aid to low-income individuals and families. They have been serving the community in Baldwin County, Alabama for over 50 years in hopes to establish self-sufficiency and long-term economic stability. KIWANIS BOYS & GIRLS CLUB AS A TITLE
Mobile's Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama is a non-profit youth organization that provides afterschool programs, reading tutoring, and a space for practicing sports and physical activities for kids of all backgrounds. Community volunteers also serve as mentors who assist youth in learning job interview skills and resume writing. The organization acts as a solution to our community's juvenile violence and crime issues. We believe that Mobile's children deserve our time and influence, and we want to encourage the larger Alabama community to engage in this endeavor with us.
